Chef of the Week, 11th May 2018 – Chef Sulochana

Hello, Foodies and Buddies!

This week we have a special Chef of the Week in the form of Chef Sulochana. She has been a long-time member of the FoodyBuddy and can boast over 1300 orders to her name.

Chef Sulochana might be a little older than your average Buddy, but her youthful enthusiasm more than makes up for it. She is a specialist of South Indian cuisine and loves making traditional favourites such as Masala Dosa, Idly, Uthappam, Payasam, and more!

Chef Sulochana’s cooking style is a product of her roots. She is originally from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and learnt cooking after getting married – early on in life. It was actually the combined efforts of her mother and her mother in law which started her down the path to cooking greatness.

And, her cooking is indeed great, as the testimonials from her users will show:

“Wonderful South Indian home cooked meal” – Venkiteswaran

“The best Obbattu (Poli) I have ever had! Thank you so much Sulochana Aunty :)” – Kavita V

“Thanks, Sulochana Aunty for yummy food… appreciate your affectionate touch in it :)” – S P

“I love the food cooked by Sulochaaa Aunty…Very yummy and clean food” – Manasa

“Fantastic cutlets. Kids loved them and helped themselves with multiple servings. Thanks, madam.” -Manoj

With her vast experience – both in life and on FoodyBuddy – Chef Sulochana had some words of wisdom for new Buddies. She said, “Serve your buyers the exact same food that you are making for yourself and your family. Maintain the same quality. Also, customize the food according to the buyer’s preferences.”

Thank you so much for all of your amazing work on FoodyBuddy, Sulochana Aunty and all the very best going forward 🙂
