Hello, Foodies and Buddies!
Welcome to October and our very first edition of Chef of the Week for this month. It’s a special feature this week as Chef Ritu Agrawal takes her rightful place in the spotlight having recently crossed the 1000 Meals Sold Milestone on FoodyBuddy!
So, how exactly did Chef Ritu’s FoodyBuddy journey start? “My start with FoodyBuddy was a very casual one. I came to know about the app from one of my very close friends and she suggested that I join the group as she was already aware of my passion for cooking,” she recalled.
Chef Ritu continued, “The first dish which I posted was for Litti Chokha and the response was awesome and then I continued posting other dishes regularly!”
Litti Chokha is certainly one of Chef Ritu’s top dishes and one of the top dishes on the entire FoodyBuddy platform. It was a recent Dish of the Week and you can read all about it by clicking here!
Chef Ritu described her speciality dishes as Litti Chokha and Sooji Paratha which she posts regularly – at least once a week and are always sold out!
So, having sold over 1000 Meals, what keeps Chef Ritu motivated?
“I have already sold more than 1000 meals in a short span of time and want to keep on going. The thing which inspires me most to keep cooking is the lovely compliment which I receive from all the customers,” she answered.
“The other thing is that being a housewife, I had enough time which I was not utilizing before but now I feel very satisfied that I am able to serve food to other Foodies!”
Her Foodies certainly appreciate Chef Ritu’s awesome cooking and our Chef of the Week recalled some of her experiences with buyers.
“Though face to face interaction with the foodies is very less for me but I get the chance to interact with all the regular customers over WhatsApp. But I have interacted many times with one Foody from Ozone evergreens, Deepesh Singh who always compliments my dishes and I am grateful to him for this.”
So, having made such awesome progress in such a short span of time, what advice does Chef Ritu have for new Buddies?
She said, “I would like to suggest to new Buddies to always prepare healthy food even if it is simple because restaurant food will not be as healthy as home cooked food. And try to customize the food as per foody’s request and also on time delivery is very important.”
Finally, in closing, Chef Ritu said, “I would like to say tons of thanks to FoodyBuddy for creating such a great platform to link the Foody and Buddy together and also for sending such nice gifts almost every month.”
Thank you so much for all of your amazing work on FoodyBuddy ma’am and it is our pleasure to serve you as best we can. All the best to you going forward 🙂
