Chef of the Week, 8th March 2019 – Sandhya Sinha

Hello, Foodies and Buddies!

It’s Chef of the Week time and on this edition, we have Chef Sandhya Sinha who has recently celebrated the 1000 Meals Sold Milestone and has now sold 1655 Meals during her time on FoodyBuddy.

We asked Chef Sandhya how she got started on FoodyBuddy and she replied, “I got to know about FoodyBuddy from my complex ladies WhatsApp group. I thought of giving it a try as I love cooking and cooking always made me happy. And here I am, crossing 1600 meals sold!”

Having hit these awesome milestones, we asked Chef Sandhya what keeps her going. She said, “The encouraging feedback and good testimonials from foodies inspire me to keep going.”

When quizzed on what her favourite dishes to cook are, Chef Sandhya answered, “I cook all types of food like Indian, Italian, and Chinese. I love to cook Spaghetti Aglio E Olio, Papdi Chaat, Rajma, and Matar ki Poori.”

She also told us about her most popular dishes. “The favourite dishes of my foodies are Poha, Papdi Chaat, Aloo Paratha, Nimki, and Besan Laddoos,” said Chef Sandhya.

We asked Chef Sandhya what advice she had for new Buddies and she said, “According to me, quality is more important than quantity. I believe in serving quality food to my foodies. Use the best ingredients and cook with a lot of love and passion.”

We asked Chef Sandhya if she had anything to say in closing and she remarked, “Food is an integral part of our lives; more-so home food. Hence, more than a commercial enterprise, my focus is on creating and sharing food which is healthy, yet exciting, nutritious and wholesome, easy on the palate and purse.”
