Hello, Foodies and Buddies!
It’s time for our Chef of the Week column and on this edition we have Chef Shalini Panwar who recently crossed the 1000 Meals Sold Milestone and is fully deserving of this place in the FoodyBuddy spotlight!
We caught up with Chef Shalini and had a very interesting conversation about her FoodyBuddy journey.
When asked about how she got started on our platform, she replied, “My family and friends always used to compliment me for my cooking. Some of my friends suggested to me that I start selling my dishes on this app so others can also taste my cooking. My family also supported me for starting with such an exciting idea!”
Having quickly reached the 1000 Meals Sold Milestone, what is that keeps Chef Shalini motivated to keep selling?
“We all like genuine compliments! I keep getting so many good testimonials for my taste and quality which gives me enthusiasm for doing more and more,” she answered.
Chef Shalini has some truly delicious dishes showcased on FoodyBuddy and she told us some of her most popular and favourite dishes to cook.
“Chole Bhature, Aloo Tikki Chaat, Kadai Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala, Pav Bhaji, Pani Puri, Fresh Malai Paneer, Paneer Pakora, Besan Ladoo, Coconut Burfi, and lots more,” she said with a big smile!
Chef Shalini’s Foodies definitely love her cooking and she notes that many of them are regular customers who appreciate her food and keep ordering since her dishes are loved by even their kids!
Being such an established name on FoodyBuddy, we asked Chef Shalini if she had any advice for new and upcoming Buddies and she said, “I believe to give good quality food and use same ingredients what I use for my family. Maintain quality and consistency.”
Finally, we quizzed Chef Shalini on what her plans for the future are and she replied, “I got a very good platform through FoodyBuddy to fulfil my aspirations. I started with my own apartments and now my customers are in multiple apartments and I wish to keep growing!”
Thank you so much for such an insightful conversation, Chef Shalini, and we would like to wish you all the very best going forward 🙂
