Hello, Foodies and Buddies!
Welcome to the first Chef of the Week column of March 2019, featuring Chef Anjana Nath who has blazed her way to the 1000 Meals Sold Milestone!
We asked Chef Anjana how she got her start on FoodyBuddy and she replied, “I noticed an ad beside the elevator and I decided to contact the FoodyBuddy team and know more about it. No second thought was required after that.”
Having made such quick progress to 1000 Meals, Chef Anjana gave us some insight into what keeps her inspired. She said, ” I am driven by passion. Cooking has been my passion ever since my childhood!”
Chef Anjana is a versatile cook and it certainly shows. “I love the word multicuisine which I have incorporated here. In my house, I cook special dishes during weekends or even on weekdays which I share on the FoodyBuddy app. My favourite dish is Kachoris. For me, every Sunday morning, the breakfast should be kachoris,” she said with a smile.
Chef Anjana’s most popular dishes include Peas Kachoris, Hing Kachoris, Stuffed Parathas, Muffins, Rum Balls, Caramel Custard, Brownies, Super-Soft Phulkas, and Bengali Delicacies!
Her buyers most definitely appreciate Chef Anjana’s awesome cooking. Recounting one memorable experience with a buyer, Chef Anjana said, “It was the best compliment ever when an aunty complimented the Hing Kachoris saying, “You reminded me of Banaras!” Personally, I have never been to Banaras, but I have seen my granny preparing Hing Kachoris which I have inherited.”
Chef Anjana also has some short and sweet advice for new sellers on the FoodyBuddy platform. She said, “Be a customer first to serve a customer!”
Finally, in closing, Chef Anjana said that her future plans involve crossing more Milestones on FoodyBuddy!
We are glad to hear that, ma’am, and we wish you all the very best going forward. Thank you so much for being such an integral part of our FoodyBuddy family 🙂
