Hello, Foodies and Buddies!
It’s the first Chef of the Week feature for 2019 and we are featuring Chef Pragati who recently crossed the 1000 Meals Sold Milestone!
We asked Chef Pragati how she got started on her FoodyBuddy journey and she said, “My FoodyBuddy journey started approximately one year back and I came to know it from my husband. One day, he received a message from our apartment, Avalon’s, group that FoodyBuddy has started soon in our apartment. He encouraged and suggested to me that I can join the FoodyBuddy platform and go forward with my passion for cooking!”
Having been such a steady presence on our platform and having crossed the 1000 Meals Sold Milestone, we quizzed Chef Pragati on what keeps her motivated to keep selling. She said, ” My motto is, ‘Good Food, Good Life!’ I posted my first dish – Delhi Style Matara Kulcha – and when I get in my first orders, the awesome feedback from my buyers about my food inspired me a lot.
The most important thing for me is the support of my husband. He always motivates me and when sometimes I get many orders, he always helps me by taking care of our children. My husband’s and my buyers’ support always inspires me to keep cooking good food.”
So, what exactly are Chef Pragati’s specialities?
She answered, “I hail from North India so I mainly cook North Indian and Punjabi dishes – which are my specialities. My favourite dishes is Kadai Paneer and Punjabi Kadi.”
We also asked Chef Pragati what her most popular dishes are and she said, “My popular dishes are Chili Kadai paneer, Achari Aloo with Methi Poori, Stuff Parathas, Punjabi Paneer Bhurji. These are mostly liked by all my buyers and I always received good comments.”
Chef Pragati’s buyers certainly agree and she told us about some good interactions she’s had with her Foodies.
“There are many special interactions with my Foodies. Many aunties, uncles, and friends call me ‘Chef Pragati!’ which sounds amazing.
When sometimes aunties and uncles appreciate my food, I feel very glad because they have tasted many types of tasty food in their life but they still like my food. They always appreciate and tell me that I’m a really good chef and there is some magical taste in my food and to keep cooking such tasty food!”
Having been so successful on the FoodyBuddy platform, we asked Chef Pragati what advice she has for new Buddies and she replied, ” FoodyBuddy is the best platform where we provide the healthy, hygienic home cooked food because health comes first. It does not require any coaching. It just needs your passion for cooking.”
When asked about her future plans, Chef Pragati replied, “I want to continue my journey with FoodyBuddy. Foodybuddy is a wonderful platform, and the future is bright with lots of name and fame.”
Finally, Chef Pragati had this to say. “I would like to thank the wonderful FoodyBuddy team and especially (FoodyBuddy Co-Founders) Akil and Rachna who give us the opportunity to show our cooking talent. God bless you keep up the good job!”
Thank you so much for such kind words, Chef Pragati and we wish you all the best going forward 🙂
