This is what Chef Sarika had to say about her FoodyBuddy experience in her own words:

“Thank you to all the Foodies and Buddies because of whom I am here and have crossed 1000 Meals Sold! My inspiration is my Foodies, and without them I wouldn’t be here.

I remember when I was new to my apartment, I was looking for food online, and one of my friends told me about FoodyBuddy where I could get homemade food. It was from here that I decided to serve people like me who were looking for homemade food.

I have completed my Masters in Information Technology from Australia but what I really enjoy is cooking. I love to cook new dishes with different recipes.

Basically, I didn’t have many friends but since I started selling on FoodyBuddy, I have found many friends in my Foodies! Nowadays, my Foodies wave at me when I pass through the clubhouse or the park and I feel so happy. Whatever I cook, I do it with love and passion. I love to cook and serve my Foodies. The inspiration I get is from my Foodies and the smiles on their faces when I deliver the food and their reviews on the FoodyBuddy App or WhatsApp groups really make my day.”

“Wheat Rava Upma, Semia Upma, Sambhar, and various Non-Veg Dishes are my specialities which my Foodies mostly like. I also get personal requests for food they want to eat, which I really love to do, ’cause I want my Foodies to enjoy and eat what they really want. I also really appreciate the feedback from Foodies which makes me want to improve myself and serve them even better next time.

I am very serious when it comes to quality, quantity and hygiene. My suggestion to newcomers is to just cook with passion because you can reach your goal when you work with passion.

We were four in my family, and now FoodyBuddy has joined my family and we are five! All chefs in my community are very friendly with each other and cook happily. I would really like to thank FoodyBuddy for giving me this opportunity to serve my Foodies from the comfort of my own home!

And also a big thank you to the FoodyBuddy team for all the support you give us. Going forward, I don’t want FoodyBuddy to be limited to community premises because there are many people who want to eat homemade food at the office and even outside apartment communities! We would love to serve all the Foodies who want to eat homemade food.

Providing fresh, hot, and tasty food on time is the main challenge for me so I also wanna thank my mom for sharing her recipes and teaching me how to cook during my childhood and how to manage time while cooking. I would also like to thank my husband for all the support and encouragement. I would also like to thank my two lovely kids who understand me when I go out to deliver the food. I want to thank my father who taught me to be strong and face any hurdles that come in my life. Thank you to all the Foodies once again for your love and support!”

Thank you so much for all your lovely words, Chef Sarika, and we want to wish you all the very best going forward! You are such an important part of FoodyBuddy and one of the most amazing chefs! Congrats on this great achievement!
